On 04/02/26, Microsoft removed my developer account suddenly and without warning, only stating the baseless allegation that I had breached the App Developer Agreement.

Still yet to receive a payout, I filed a money claim against Microsoft, where I submitted information about the app and Microsoft’s incorrect assertion. I have since won this case and Microsoft have paid me what I’m owed.

Despite this, they did not re-instate my developer account, but perhaps more importantly, I have no intention of doing any business with Microsoft ever again.

I sincerely apologise for Microsoft’s actions. If you wish to continue using DownloadMonitor, please email me with proof of purchase from Microsoft. I will give you a license key, free of charge, so you may continue receiving updates and support
