When I first began writing DownloadMonitor I had a vision for a simple, lightweight application that displayed network usage in realtime. I believe that dream is alive and well in the current release of DownloadMonitor, but I also recognise that some people aren’t necessarily looking for features or polish, but rather a simple app that can be copied, modified, and distributed however they like

It’s for this reason I’ve decided to release DownloadMonitor lite. It’s forked from an early version of DownloadMonitor. I have cleaned up the code and pulled in some relevant fixes, but other than that it is unmodified
